Apply for Anthropic’s AI for Science rare disease research grants

Anthropic has opened a dedicated call in its AI for Science program for rare genetic disease research.

Selected applicants can receive up to $50,000 in Claude credits over six months.

The program has two tracks: basic science research and early biotech work aimed at faster clinical development.

Anthropic highlighted partnerships with the Monarch Initiative and its disease ontology and knowledge graph resources.

The grants are meant to help researchers model rare diseases, surface shared mechanisms, and accelerate therapeutic progress.
