Anthropic and the Government of Rwanda sign MOU for AI in health and education

Anthropic and Government of Rwanda signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding three-year Memorandum of Understanding between Anthropic and the Government of Rwanda.

MOU established partnership areas for education, health, and the public sector agreement covers education, health, and public sector systems.

Anthropic built on a prior education partnership announced in November 2025 builds on an education partnership announced in November 2025 that included ALX.

Will support national health goals including cervical cancer elimination, malaria reduction, and maternal mortality reduction, anthropic will support the Ministry of Health on cervical cancer elimination, malaria reduction, and lowering maternal mortality.

Will provide Claude and Claude Code access along with training, capacity building, and API credits for public sector developers, government developer teams will use Claude and Claude Code, plus training, capacity building, and API credits.
