Samsung’s next foldable phones could get a confusing name swap

A leak says Samsung may flip its foldable naming for the July launch.

The wider model could keep the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name, while the higher-spec version may be branded Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

The report comes from Ice Universe on Weibo and suggests a change from Samsung's usual naming pattern.

If true, the switch could confuse buyers and make the foldable lineup harder to read at launch.
