Dashlane Confirms Brute-Force Password Attacks Targeting Some Users

Dashlane confirmed some user accounts were targeted in an external brute-force attack.

The company suspended affected accounts as a precaution, but said its own systems were not compromised.

Dashlane first investigated reports of login problems and suspended accounts, then marked the issue resolved before moving it back to monitoring.

Impacted users were told to contact support, and the company recommended enabling two-factor authentication.
