Fans Hated The Expanse RPG Protagonist So Much He’s Being Recast

Owlcat Games says it will recast the male lead and his twin brother in The Expanse: Osiris Reborn after closed beta criticism.

The studio said the current performance lacked expressiveness and that player feedback pushed the change.

It will also revise dialogue, facial animations, the companion system, and cover mechanics before launch.

The game is still targeting a Q2 2027 release, with more changes planned as development continues.
