New Steam Machine details leak. Preorders could begin soon.

Code in a Steam update suggests Valve is preparing four Steam Machine packages, plus two Steam Frame packages, ahead of launch.

Two of the Steam Machine models appear to be 512GB and 2TB versions, while the other two remain unidentified.

The code also points to a reservation queue system that could be used for preorders, likely to curb bots and resellers.

Valve has not revealed pricing or a release date, but it has said the Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and Steam Controller are planned for this year.
