Japan’s first tobacco delivery service launches via menu

menu has started tobacco delivery on its food delivery app, a first for a domestic platform.

Eligible users aged 20 or older and verified by identity checks can order cigarettes and heated tobacco products.

Orders require per-order identity verification, face-to-face handoff, and credit card payment.

The service begins with a partner shop in Yotsuya-Sakamachi, Shinjuku, with delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
