WhatsApp finally fixes one of its biggest storage headaches with this new cleanup tool

WhatsApp has added a channel-media cleanup feature to its Android beta app.

Users can filter and delete saved media from a channel’s info page or bulk-clear media from multiple channels in the Updates tab.

Starred updates are preserved, and the feature is rolling out gradually to a limited set of beta testers.

The tool helps reduce storage used by channel downloads without manually sorting through files.
