Hokkahokka Tei launches new brand “One Hand BENTO,” sells 220,000 meals at the Expo

Hokkahokkatei will make its new “One Hand BENTO by Hokkahokkatei” a permanent offering at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store from April 29.

The brand was first sold at the Osaka-Kansai Expo and has already surpassed 220,000 meals sold.

The lineup includes five handheld bentos, such as nori bento, chicken nanban, wagyu, root-vegetable kinpira, and fried shrimp.

Prices range from 540 yen to 1,188 yen.

By moving a proven Expo hit into regular retail, the company aims to capture demand from busy consumers seeking convenience and healthier options.
