WATCH LIVE: NASA's First Crewed Moon Mission in Decades Is About to Launch

Artemis II will carry a four-person crew to circle the Moon.

It is the first human trip to the Moon since the Apollo program ended in 1972.

Crew: commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen.

Liftoff is scheduled for 22:24 UTC on Wednesday, 1 April 2026.

The 10-day mission will orbit the Moon in the Orion spacecraft and is the first crewed liftoff of NASA's SLS rocket and the Orion module.
