LG Electronics builds pilot line for robot actuators... "Goal to contribute to performance by 2030"

LG Electronics has set up a pilot production line for robot actuators at its Changwon plant and has started initial output.

From the second half of the year, the company will expand sales efforts and consider further investment to scale the robotics business.

LG is also building a large data factory and deploying the humanoid robot Cloid to collect training data for robots.

The company is pursuing physical AI and robotics collaborations with Nvidia, LG affiliates, and Chinese partners, aiming for meaningful contributions by 2030.
