Apple adds wireless connection feature to Magic accessories, enhancing convenience

Apple is improving Magic accessory connectivity in iOS and iPadOS 26.5.

When a Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, or Magic Trackpad is connected via USB-C, Bluetooth pairing is created automatically.

That means the wireless connection stays active after unplugging the cable.

The change makes setup smoother and reduces repeated pairing steps, especially on iPad.
