American Airlines is getting Starlink Wi-Fi

American Airlines will start adding SpaceX’s Starlink Wi‑Fi to more than 500 aircraft in the first quarter of 2027.

The rollout will include new Airbus A321XLR and A321neo jets and will sit alongside current providers Viasat and SES.

The deal further expands Starlink’s presence in commercial aviation and could improve in-flight internet speed and reliability for passengers.
