Valve appears to be testing a Steam beta feature that estimates game performance on store pages.

The system would use frame-rate data collected from users’ PCs, plus rough matches for CPU, GPU, and RAM.

That could help shoppers better predict how a game will run on their own PC before buying.

If rolled out widely, it could make Steam’s store pages more useful and strengthen Valve’s hardware ecosystem.
