The Pokémon TCG’s cool new 30th anniversary release will sell out immediately

The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration, a worldwide 30th anniversary set launching September 16.

The set introduces a new tactile rarity called Futuristic rare, along with six special holofoil cards and returning classics with updated foil treatments.

Collectors will also get 30 different Pikachu variants by different artists, plus a gold-edged base set Charizard.

The release is expected to draw heavy demand, with reseller-driven shortages likely to make stock disappear quickly.
