Your Waymo will now listen to you with some help from Gemini

Waymo is rolling out Ojai, a redesigned in-car interface with a calmer layout and triple-screen design.

Riders can optionally use Google’s Gemini AI in beta to control cabin features, get trip details, and ask general questions.

Gemini handles comfort and information requests, but it cannot control routing or vehicle motion for safety and privacy.

The update aims to make autonomous rides easier to use and understand while keeping driving controls separate.
