Apple may integrate visual AI directly into camera app with iOS 27

Apple is reportedly building a Siri-powered camera mode for iOS 27, letting users point the iPhone camera at objects or scenes for instant context.

Bloomberg says Visual Intelligence may move into the default Camera app, making Apple’s visual AI easier to access.

The update could be announced at WWDC and may tie into broader Siri improvements and future AI devices like AirPods and smart glasses.

If shipped, the change would strengthen Apple’s push in consumer AI by putting search and scene recognition directly into a core iPhone feature.
