Subnautica 2 entered early access on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at a global unlock time.

The game is priced at $29.99 and is available on PC storefronts plus Xbox Series X|S.

Day-one access is included for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Cross-platform multiplayer is supported at launch, while PlayStation and Nintendo platforms are not included yet.
