Star Fox On Switch 2 Is Getting A Day One Update

Nintendo says Star Fox on Switch 2 will need a day-one update to unlock online Battle Mode, GameChat avatars, and AR features.

Access to online play will also require an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.

The game is set to launch digitally and in stores on 25 June 2026, with pre-orders already open.
