League of Legends "not open" to third-party skins: "The tone of your game completely changes"

Riot Games says League of Legends is generally not open to third-party skins or external IP crossovers.

Lead designer August Browning said such collaborations would change the game’s tone.

Riot has still done branded skins before, including Louis Vuitton Senna and other franchise tie-ins.

The stance suggests LoL will likely avoid the heavy crossover approach seen in games like Fortnite or Overwatch.
