Spotify Releases Audiobook Creation Tool Powered by ElevenLabs AI Technology

Spotify announced an AI-powered audiobook creation tool inside Spotify for Authors, built with ElevenLabs speech technology.

The tool will let authors self-publish audiobooks more easily, with a beta rollout planned for select English-language markets in June 2026.

Spotify also plans to expand language support, strengthen Audiobook+ features, and add AI-assisted creation tools for more audio formats.

The move could lower production barriers for publishers while broadening Spotify’s AI-driven publishing ecosystem.
