Twitch expands viewer-participation monetization features, strengthens Hype Train

Twitch is expanding monetization tools for eligible streamers with event-based badge rewards, customizable Power-ups, and a new Community Train for Hype Trains.

Streamers can now choose rewards and Bits costs for Power-ups, while the Community Train can also reward viewers who are not actively chatting.

Early tests showed higher subscription-gift revenue and up to double the revenue from special Hype Trains versus standard ones.

Twitch says it will keep refining eligibility and add more reward options over time.
