Google launching 'Daily Brief,' an AI-driven personal assistant

Google unveiled Daily Brief at I/O, an opt-in AI assistant for U.S. Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers.

The feature scans email and calendar data to build a prioritized daily summary, with a top-priority section guided by Gemini.

It reflects Google’s push to turn its AI agent strategy into a consumer productivity tool.

The launch also adds value to higher-tier paid AI plans by making the feature subscription-only.
