BYD’s New Technology Research Institute has unveiled HyWorldVLA, a multimodal autonomous-driving foundation model built with a hybrid world-model plus VLA approach.

On the public NAVSIM v1 benchmark, HyWorldVLA achieved a leading PDMS score of 90.59, indicating strong performance.
