Beijing's robot half-marathon is back for its second year with far less embarrassing results

Beijing held its second humanoid robot half-marathon, which ran much more smoothly than the debut event.

Honor’s robot Lightning won the race in 50 minutes and 26 seconds.

More than 100 robots entered, and some top finishers were reported to have completed the course autonomously.

But many robots still relied on remote control, and several suffered crashes along the way.
