AWS launches AWS CloudFormation Express mode, which can speed up deployments by up to 4x

AWS has launched CloudFormation Express mode, a new feature that can speed up deployments by up to 4x.

Express mode finishes without waiting for every resource to fully stabilize, reducing CloudFormation wait time.

The biggest gains apply to some Amazon SQS and AWS Lambda operations, including DLQ-related workflows.

The change could make iterative infrastructure updates, testing, and AI-assisted IaC development much faster.
