Counterpoint Research says the iPhone 17 was the world’s best-selling smartphone in Q1 2026.

Apple took the top three spots, led by iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Pro.

Samsung placed five models in the top 10, while Xiaomi had one with the Redmi A5.

The top 10 models together accounted for 25% of global smartphone sales, highlighting Apple’s concentration and Samsung’s broader lineup strategy.
