Xiaomi spills SkyNomad EREV details ahead of July 30 debut, and it rhymes with Kunlun

Xiaomi previewed its upcoming SkyNomad extended-range SUV lineup on Weibo ahead of a July 30 technical briefing.

The company said the SUV will use a newly developed Kunlun range extender built around a 1.5-liter turbo engine.

Xiaomi also shared fuel economy data, warranty terms and road-testing progress for the N90 Max.

The move pushes Xiaomi further into China’s premium family SUV market, where it will compete with Li Auto, Aito and XPeng.
