Nintendo is changing the name of My Nintendo Store later this month

Nintendo will rename its official online shop from My Nintendo Store to Nintendo Store on May 27.

Nintendo says the service, products, and current loyalty program will stay the same.

The update is a branding change only, not a change to sales or customer support.

The move may point to a simpler, more unified retail identity for Nintendo.
