sheets.works has launched the Listening Museum, a web project that compares the sounds of 36 mechanical keyboards.

Users can type in their browser and hear recordings mapped to each board, making acoustic differences easy to explore.

The archive includes vintage and modern models, from the IBM Model M to boards from SteelSeries, Logitech, and Cherry MX Blue setups.

It gives keyboard enthusiasts and designers a simple way to evaluate sound as an important part of hardware quality.
