A Brand-New Survival-Horror Game is Coming to the Sega Dreamcast

PixelHeart announced it is developing a new survival-horror game exclusively for the Sega Dreamcast.

The developer hinted the title may be The Darkness and said development has just started.

No screenshots or footage were shared; the studio described the game as featuring fixed cameras and a dark atmosphere.

PixelHeart was founded in 2018 and works on retro platforms including Dreamcast, Neo Geo, and Genesis.

The Dreamcast launched in Japan in November 1998, sold nine million units, and led Sega to exit the console market after poor sales.
