Nintendo & Illumination Are Releasing An Untitled Movie In April 2028

Universal Pictures International Spain listed an untitled Nintendo/Illumination event film for April 12, 2028.

The listing has sparked speculation that the project could be a new Mario, Donkey Kong, or Star Fox movie.

A rumored Metroid adaptation seems less likely, since that project is believed to be live-action.

The schedule suggests Nintendo and Illumination are already planning beyond the current Mario film series.
