Google revamps Workspace app icons, redesigning Gmail, Calendar and others all at once

Google announced a redesign of Google Workspace app icons, with rollout already underway and continuing over several weeks.

Core apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs are moving from flat icons to a more dimensional, gradient-based look.

Google says the update is meant to strengthen each app’s identity while making the suite feel more unified.

The change updates branding and visual recognition, but does not alter app features.
