Trump-appointed judges refuse to block Trump blacklisting of Anthropic AI tech

An appeals court denied Anthropic’s request to pause a blacklisting dispute while the case is reviewed on the merits.

The court said the balance of equities favored the government.

It also said Anthropic raised substantial challenges and could suffer some irreparable harm during litigation.

The court agreed the case should be handled quickly, and that expedited review was warranted.

The relationship with Anthropic had deteriorated; its CEO called the Department’s statements "completely false" and "just straight up lies," and CCIA filed briefs in both cases.
