Dubai plans to replace DXB with a vastly expanded Al Maktoum International Airport.

The $35 billion project would add five runways, four concourses, and more than 400 gates.

The airport is designed to handle up to 260 million passengers a year, with a full move by 2032.

If completed, the hub could become the world’s largest airport and reshape global aviation rankings.
