AMD Prepares Entry-Level Radeon RX 9050 GPU, Comes in 8 GB and 4 GB, With the Latter Cutting the Memory Bus in Half

AMD is reportedly preparing an entry-level Radeon RX 9050 graphics card lineup.

Leaks say the card uses a cut-down Navi 44 RDNA 4 chip with 1,024 stream processors.

Two memory variants are expected: an 8 GB model on a 128-bit bus and a 4 GB model on a 64-bit bus.

The cards may ship in low-power dual-fan, dual-slot designs, but pricing remains unconfirmed.

If real, the RX 9050 could broaden AMD’s RDNA 4 range, though the split VRAM configs may confuse buyers.
