OpenAI announces new advanced security for ChatGPT accounts, including a partnership with Yubico

OpenAI launched Advanced Account Security, an optional set of protections for ChatGPT users.

The new features are aimed at people handling sensitive or high-risk information.

OpenAI also partnered with Yubico to release co-branded YubiKey C NFC and YubiKey C Nano security keys.

The hardware keys add stronger login protection to help reduce phishing and account takeover risks.
