Rec Room, a Roblox-style VR game, is shutting down

Rec Room's developers announced the game will shut down on June 1 after a decade of operation.

They said the title drew 150 million players but never became profitable amid shifts in the VR market.

Starting immediately the platform disabled new accounts, friend creation, and premium subscriptions while unlocking some premium features until June.
