Advancing Youth Safety and Wellbeing in EMEA

OpenAI released a five-pillar European Youth Safety Blueprint to guide safer, age-appropriate AI use for children and teens.

It also named 12 recipients of its €500,000 EMEA Youth & Wellbeing Grant, funding work on AI safety, literacy, age assurance, and support services.

The grants will support projects for young people, families, educators, and civil society across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The initiative combines policy guidance and funding to help shape stronger AI safeguards and wellbeing protections for minors.
