Google Slides can now generate editable slides with Gemini

Google announced that Gemini in Google Slides can now create editable slides, announced Jan. 1 (US time).

Users can modify layout and design elements of Gemini-generated slides by clicking Create or Enhance this slide.

The feature supports brand-consistent slide generation and can reference files from Google Drive.

Initial availability is for English users on specific Workspace and Google AI paid plans, with other languages rolling out later.
