BMW could finally be building the electric convertible fans have always wanted

BMW is reportedly developing an i4 Convertible EV, codenamed NA3, for a planned 2028 launch.

The model is expected to ride on the Neue Klasse platform and share Gen6 motors and batteries with other next-gen EVs.

It would likely be a soft-top four-seat convertible, expanding BMW’s niche electric lineup.

The current i4 Gran Coupe may end next year, while the gas 4 Series Convertible and M4 Convertible could continue until around 2029.
