The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is official, and it changes what Samsung's foldable lineup looks like

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in London with a wider, tablet-like foldable design.

The new Fold features a 7.6-inch 4:3 inner display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 4,800mAh battery, and dual 50MP rear cameras.

U.S. pricing starts at $1,900, with preorders highlighting Samsung’s push toward multitasking and content use.

Samsung also renamed the earlier book-style version as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, adding a larger battery and triple-camera system.
