Gemini Intelligence has strict requirements, and your phone may not qualify

Google is setting strict eligibility rules for Gemini Intelligence, requiring a flagship chip, 12GB of RAM, AI Core support, Gemini Nano v3 or newer, and long-term software support.

Reports suggest some current premium phones, including parts of the Pixel 9 lineup and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, may not qualify yet.

Future compatibility is not fully ruled out, but the rollout signals tougher hardware standards for on-device AI features across Android flagships.
