iOS 26.4.2 and iOS 18.7.8—Update Now Warning Issued To iPhone Users

Apple has released iOS 26.4.2 and iOS 18.7.8 to patch a Notification Services flaw on the iPhone.

Tracked as CVE-2026-28950, the bug could leave notifications marked for deletion stored on the device.

That creates a risk of exposing sensitive message data if deleted alerts remain accessible.

The update is meant to close the hole and reduce the chance of attacker abuse.
