Apple Notifying WWDC 2026 Swift Student Challenge Winners

Apple has begun notifying WWDC 2026 Swift Student Challenge winners; the challenge ran from Feb. 6 to Feb. 28.

Apple did not disclose how many winners were chosen; in prior years it selected a total of 350 winners.

Prizes include an achievement certificate, AirPods Max 2, and a one‑year Apple Developer membership; winners are entered into Apple's lottery for the WWDC 2026 special event.

Some entrants are named Distinguished Winners and are invited to a three‑day Apple Park experience in Cupertino, California (they do not need the lottery); they will attend a keynote meetup and meet Apple engineers and employees.

The Swift Student Challenge is annual, requires an innovative coding project using Xcode or Swift Playground, and selects winners for innovation, creativity, social impact, or inclusivity; WWDC runs June 8–12 with a special event at Apple Park on June 8.
