Colorful Bets on Both Sides of Intel’s Socket Divide With New Battle-AX Boards Built for the DDR5 Price Crisis

Colorful unveiled two budget Battle-AX micro-ATX motherboards for Intel platforms: the B860M-Plus S for LGA 1851/Core Ultra 200S and the B760M-Plus S for LGA 1700.

The B860M-Plus S supports DDR5, PCIe 5.0, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G LAN, while the B760M-Plus S targets LGA 1700 systems with DDR4, WiFi 7, and PCIe 5.0.

The DDR4 option could help builders avoid the high cost of DDR5 memory upgrades.
