GitHub removes Copilot messages from pull requests

GitHub disabled a feature that automatically inserted Copilot-generated messages into pull requests.

The insertion had been recently expanded to modify existing user pull requests, and users found thousands of similar added messages.

Microsoft said the intent was to familiarize developers with Copilot, and product teams have fully turned off the feature to prevent surprises.
