NVIDIA’s Upcoming N1x SoC Falls Short of Apple’s 2023-Launching M3 Max Chip in Pre-Release Geekbench 6 Scores

Leaked Geekbench 6 results for NVIDIA’s upcoming N1x suggest it is roughly on par with Apple’s 2023 M3 Max, not clearly ahead.

The N1x is said to be a GB10-based ARM SoC with a 20-core MediaTek-designed CPU, RTX 5070-class GPU, and unified LPDDR5X memory.

NVIDIA is expected to talk about the chip at Computex, but pre-release benchmarks have raised questions about its competitiveness.

The numbers may still improve in optimized production laptops, so the leak is not a final verdict.
