Starfield Producer Says the Goal Is Still to Make a "Timeless Classic"

Bethesda's lead creative producer Tim Lamb said the studio still aims for Starfield to be considered a "timeless classic."

Starfield will receive a major update called Free Lanes, described as the game's biggest update and an overhaul of several systems.

The Free Lanes update responds to player feedback and was previewed at a Bethesda HQ event in Maryland.

Starfield launched in 2023 and continues to receive updates intended to keep players engaged long-term.
