Australia Buyers Pay Just 9.5% More for GPUs While US Shoppers Get Hit With a 22% RAMpocalypse Premium

TechSpot’s 10-country tracker shows current-gen GPU prices have mostly flattened, lingering near February 2026 levels after earlier 20–30% jumps.

The U.S. has seen the biggest increase at about 22%, while Australia is up only around 9.5%, making it the mildest market.

NVIDIA RTX 50, AMD RX 9000, and Intel current-gen cards remain well above pre-RAMpocalypse pricing.

With DRAM and SSD costs still rising, there’s little sign GPU prices will ease meaningfully soon.
